Chad Scheppner is a professional actor, director, and arts educator. As the Artistic Director of Theatre 31, L.L.C., he brings a wealth of expertise and passion to performing arts education, aiming to inspire and empower young people through creative expression.
Throughout his career, Chad has made a positive impact on young people’s lives through performing arts education. He has worked as an instructor, director, writer, and administrator in various educational settings, including regional theatres, Shakespeare festivals, universities, and K-12 schools. These experiences have provided him with a deep understanding of the importance of arts education and its potential to nurture self-esteem, collaboration, and communication skills in students.
In 2007, Chad founded Theatre 31, L.L.C., an acclaimed educational theatre company based in the greater Los Angeles area. Theatre 31 offers innovative and inclusive arts programming to communities across the region, partnering with industry professionals from film, Broadway, Cirque du Soleil, and beyond to ensure high-quality theatre experiences that transcend the traditional classroom setting.
